Terms & Conditions

These booking terms apply to all reservations made with Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast Ltd, at The Lighthouse Tytherington, Frome, BA11 5BW. By booking a stay with Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast, you agree to the terms below. For all third party bookings, please contact them directly for their booking & deposit and cancellation policy terms and conditions.

Booking & deposit

A deposit of 25% of the total stay is required to secure your direct booking. The remaining balance is due on check in. We accept payment by card on site, payment link, or cash if agreed in advance.

Cancellation policy

• 7 or more days before arrival: full refund of the deposit
• Between 1–7 days prior to arrival: no deposit refunded
• Less than 1 day before arrival: charged in full
• Early departures and no-shows are charged in full

We recommend guests take out their own travel insurance to cover unforeseen changes to travel plans.

Arrival & departure

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability and possible charges determined on a case by case basis.

Additional charges

• Well-behaved dogs are welcome in ground-floor rooms by prior arrangement, at a cost of £5 per stay
• Cots can be arranged before your stay for £5, subject to availability
• Lost keys are subject to a £15 charge
• Any missing towels, room decoration or amenities other than complimentary toiletries and condiments are subject to an appropriate charge based on the item removed

House rules

• Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast Ltd is a strictly no-smoking property, including e-cigarettes, outside of the allocated smoking area in the courtyard
• Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am, out of respect for other guests
• Rooms are let on the basis of the occupancy stated at time of booking
• Guests are responsible for any loss or damage caused to the property during their stay

For breaches of our house rules, or for any extenuating circumstance we reserve the right to terminate your reservation.

Our right to cancel

In the rare event we need to cancel your booking (for example, due to circumstances beyond our control), we will offer a full refund or, where possible, an alternative date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
